Twenty-five laps in 5 minutes = done.
Barely.
You see, the Women's Flat Track Derby Association requires that all players be able to meet some minimum skills. One of those skills is the ability to complete 25 laps of a standard roller derby track within five minutes.
The first, and only other, time that I tried this I managed to complete 18 laps. Eighteen laps isn't bad, for a newb. This time though, I was determined to complete all 25 required laps. And, I did! I counted my last lap as the whistle blew; 25 laps exactly.
All that's left now is to gain some more confidence when it comes to hits and whips.
